The contest is open for female employees of enterprises and organizations within the SC Rosatom system, research institutes, contractors and cooperating companies of the nuclear industries of the former USSR countries, as well as students and post-graduates of nuclear-related higher education establishments.
In addition, the girls who:
- reside in closed administrative territorial formations (“closed” nuclear cities), nuclear power plant satellite-cities, but who do not work at nuclear facilities; and
- work at nuclear facilities in non-CIS countries
The participation age range is 18 up to 35 years old.
The contest Miss Atom-2010 will be carried out in two stages. The contestants will be able to publish their pictures and fill in the Questionnaire on the Contest Official Website in the period from 26 March till 14 April (till 16.00 hours, Moscow time).
The Contest Administration reserves the right of final selection of the pictures to be published on the Contest website. A contestant’s Questionnaire becomes publicly accessible only after the Moderator has confirmed that it has been filled in appropriately.
In case of any subsequent editing operation, the Questionnaire will be automatically made inaccessible until the Moderator checks and releases it. Please, be attentive when filling in the Questionnaire.
By sending her Questionnaire to the Contest Miss Atom-2010, each participant confirms her consent and readiness to participate, free of charge and during her off-the-job hours, in:
- promo-actions of the Contest and promo-actions of its partner-companies and sponsors throuout 2010;
- photo-sessions in frames of the Contest, as well as those for the purposes of the Contest’s publicity in electronic and printed mass media;
- interviews with magazines, newspapers, as well as radio and TV broadcasts which cover the Contest.
The Contest Administration reserves the right to warn and withdraw a contestant from voting process in the following cases:
A contestant’s non-involvement in or unawareness of the use of prohibited means, ways and/or techniques during voting in regard of her Questionnaire will not be considered a mitigating factor in the decision-making on her further participation in the Contest.
The Contest winners will be three contestants who have received maximum number of points derived from a sum of points obtained through the on-line and SMS voting. Voting results will become valid after they have been approved by the Contest Scoring Panel.
Miss Atom-2010 winners will be awarded with worthwhile prizes:
1-st place: “The White City“ – One-week tour to one of world-famous SPAs in Jordan;
2-nd place: “The Amber Coast“ – One-week leisure tour to the best beach in the Dominican Republic;
3-rd place: “The Isle of Gods“ – An exotic week on the Bali Island in Indonesia.
Additional (special) prizes may be provided on behalf and at the expense of companies who support the Contest, as well as provided by any group of companies, subject to advance consent and/or coordination by the Contest Administration.
The Miss Atom-2010 winners and awardees of special prizes will be invited to the Award Ceremony. The date and venue of the Award Ceremony is to be announced.
The invitees’ accompanying persons are allowed to the Award Ceremony subject to advance agreement on terms with the Contest Administration.
The prizes are given personally to each winner or send her by mail; the prizes are not given in a cash equivalent.
Nuclear.Ru owns all rights for the materials published on the Miss Atom-2010 website (except for public access photos). Rights in regard of the contestants’ pictures are regulated by the Limitation of Liability Agreement.
The website materials are intended exclusively for personal use and shall not be reproduced in all and any form and/or distributed on all and any media without a Nuclear.Ru’s consent.
Full or partial authorized use of the materials shall include a reference to Miss Atom-2010 and Nuclear.Ru.
